Headteachers Welcome
If I had to put my finger on what makes the Wisbech Academy special, I would say the sense of community. In our first year our priority has been to create a community where each person is valued and is able to flourish. As a small school, we get to know our students as individuals and find out about their individual stories.
We promote a culture of aspiration because we believe anything is possible for our students. Our curriculum is knowledge-rich and academically rigorous. We expect students to work hard so that they can achieve their very best and gain qualifications that will open the door to opportunity.
We recognise that education is not only about academic success, but also about helping each student to develop as a unique individual. The formation of character is fundamental to our approach. We promote the Wisbech Academy virtues, and our curriculum encourages students to recognise and nurture their own character strengths.
The best way to find out about the Wisbech Academy is to come and visit. We would be delighted to welcome you to school and show you around, so if you would like to find out more, please get in touch.
