The current governance arrangements for The Wisbech Academy (TWA) consist of an Interim Executive Board (IEB), which will remain in place until December 2025. From September 2025, the IEB will begin the process of appointing a Local Governing Body, with a full transition planned by December 2025.

Chaired by the Director of Education, the IEB meets on a half-termly basis and operates in line with the Brooke Weston Trust’s Local Governing Body Terms of Reference to ensure consistency with the Trust’s governance framework. In addition to its core governance functions, the IEB plays a pivotal role in delivering TWA’s educational vision and objectives as outlined in the Education Brief. Through strategic oversight and effective leadership, the IEB is laying the foundation for a strong and sustainable governance structure that will support TWA’s long-term success and positive impact within the community.
